RIDE ON A VARIETY OF BEAUTIFUL - SAFE TRAILS AROUND THE ASHLAND REGION- all skill levels encourage and get a ' free simple lesson or two' to encourage you along the way.
- We may gather at the Bear Greenway to ride creekside or ride up the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. We sometimes explore the Cascade - Siskiyou National Monument near Pilot Rock.

- See trails meandering through wildflower-strewn meadows, by pristine mountain creeks, amidst majestic douglas firs and lofty pines.
- Gentle, steady horses make rides pleasant and fun for a skilled rider or rusty greenhorn (kids and adults) . We take the fears out of horseback riding and make it an adventure you'll love to do again !
- One Hour Rides fully equipped, brief rider's lesson with private guide.

Ashland's Summer Horse Camp for Kids
Ashland's Summer Horse Camp offers a summer of weekly day camps that teach kids to ride and care for horses. Based on CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) instruction, each session includes mounted lessons, lectures on horsemanship theory and safety, horse related crafts and activities, as well as an introduction to the wholesome ranch life. Campers participate with pride in the routine hands on care and handling of horses and find out what it really means to own a horse. Kids ages 6 to 15, beginner through intermediate, will love Ashland's Summer Horse Camp for Kids. Each session is five days, group numbers are small, so book early!

Ashland Summer Horse Camp Weeks - rates start at $225 per week (multiple discounts available)
DATES: June 13-17 ( Mon.-Fri ), June 20-24 ( Mon.-Fri ), June 27 - July 1, July 5-8, July 11-15, July 18-22, July 26-30, ( all weeks in August)
The Camper ( 6-15 yrs old) will experience one week (five 3-hour days) or more of absolute fun in a safe, wholesome and supportive environment with experienced adventure and inspiration.This week will build character and confidence! and your child will meet new friends...
The instruction and activities at this camp will challenge and improve each camper's riding skills. - Lessons emphasize, communication using the four natural aids to control the horse - Focus is on developing proper body alignment, balance, independent seat in each rider.
Fully supervised, individual attention and foremost of all, safety is foundational to our riding program, where we aim to produce competent riders who appreciate and practice with intelligence and competence, all aspects of sound horsemanship.
Campers will learn through fun and meet new friends! We believe that horses are good for people and if properly educated, people can be good for horses! We find that lessons learned working with horses help develop skills that last a lifetime.
OUR GUIDES ARE THE BEST!
Our Primary Guide, Trainer and Licensed Outfitter is Leslie Hunter of Ashland, Oregon. She is owner of the Flying L Ranch and is a seasoned professional horsewoman, rider and trainer. She has over 28 years experience working with horses, loves the outdoors and sharing her extensive knowledge of horsemanship, local terrain and wildlife with others.
